Telling Lies - Simon Ellis (2000)
This film was an encouraging change from the other experimentals we were shown. A comedy told entirely through text and audio. It was a really cool, simple yet clever, idea to show the difference of what people are saying to what they actual mean or are thinking. It also reminded that experimentals don't just have to be serious they can be told in any way, genre, form, etc. It's something to keep in mind, to possibly incorporate text into our film. I really enjoyed it and think it's my favourite from the selection we were shown ^_^
