Meeting

We had our meeting with the group today to go through ideas. Me and Stella were there first, but neither of us had had much luck with finding any interesting articles, was mostly only finding either football or death and violence :/

However with abit more searching we found an article on the 'bombed out church'. Which is known for being partly destroyed during the blitz, with only the shell of the building remaining. And with a bit more research, we found that there is a group called Urban Strawberry Lunch, who run a fundraiser with loads of different events to keep the church open to the public and 'keep the space alive through the arts'

We had a few other options, like Stella found a hidden cinema screening, but unfortunately it wasn't on during the time we'll be in Liverpool. And i'd found a group called Writing on the Wall, which encouraged poetry and story writing and did all sorts of events and competitions to do with that. But again nothing was going on anytime soon so it would be difficult to make an interesting doc out of it.

Emma arrived abit later, but hadn't had much luck either, and Alex and Owen had classes scheduled so we decided we're going to meet up tomorrow to pick one of our ideas and hopefully progress it and start our pitch.
